  1. I think that it is imperative using social media in a business. In fact, most important companies around the world are using social media as a way to improve their sales. The main reason about why it is currently happening is because social media bring us a great way of being known. Therefore, this is an strategy that is very used in important companies. Moreover, it is important to say that using social media is a good tool that allows having conversations and feedbacks with our customers. However, it is important being careful when you are using social media as if you don't take care of them, you will damage your corporative image. Therefore, if i had a business, I would use social media as a way to improve it.

According to the readings “Risks of Social Media Use in the Workplace and “Changing Perceptions: Reaping the Benefits of Social Media Use in the Work Environment” I must say that I would use social networks in my business, why? social networks are very effective means of communication to publicize your business in addition to facilitating communication between customers and employees; although they are an excellent help for a business also involves a series of hazards which could be prevented by making use of networks exclusively for the benefit of the business, ie employees will not use their personal social networks during business hours; the persons in charge of the use of the networks must agree with the conditions of use of the business networks and sign the agreement; only really qualified people with an excellent writing, vocabulary and above all educated and respectful people will use social networks in this way we can ensure a good use of them and offer a good service to our customers; the passwords of all these networks will only be known by a strictly trustworthy person to ensure that they do not fall into the wrong hands.

  3. In my opinion, it is very important to use social media in a business. Social media is a fast way and many people have access, in this way they manage to improve sales. Through this medium companies and people are known to have a far greater reach to the traditional way, social networks also allow customers to make comments, opinions and suggestions about business and products. I do not have a business, however, in my dad's business, social networking has been a big change and attracted a lot of people. I think business should take full advantage of the benefits of social networking.

  4. I would use social networks as long as I have the knowledge and expertise to make the most of it. Social networks allow the constant interaction between the company and the clients, allow to advertise new products and do not require large investments, since they are mostly free. However, by not having established parameters, the company can be victim of bad publicity, lose their popularity, thus lower sales and lose customer preference. In 2013, I had the opportunity to create a "virtual store" with a colleague. Potential buyers wrote us asking for new products and labeled their friends in our publications. In short time, we became popular. However, the number of daily publications began to fall when we started college as well as our number of followers. Finally, the sales fell and when we tried again we did not have the same answer, we had a bad reputation. We try to carry our networks as we carry our personal accounts, which is a big mistake. From this experience I learned to differentiate between them and to seek the support of marketing experts who are the ones who know the proper use of this tool.
